Levenhuk MED 20T is a trinocular microscope with semi-plan achromatic optics. A delivered image is flat and sharp. Therefore, the microscope is suitable for conducting sophisticated professional observations. The optics magnification is of 40x to 1000x. A microscope is an excellent choice for equipping a medical laboratory, microbiology department at a university, or research institute.

Features:

  • Trinocular laboratory microscope
  • Semi-plan achromatic optics, magnification of 40x to 100x
  • Anti-fungal coating of all optical surfaces

The trinocular head allows for the simultaneous conducting of visual observations and transmitting the image to the external screen using a digital camera (not included). There is a beam splitter. The camera is installed in an individual vertical ocular tube. A binocular visual node is inclined at 30° and used for regular observations. A head can be rotated by 360° around its axis, which is useful for group research.

The eyepieces and objective lenses are made of the optical glass with an anti-fungal coating. Four objective lenses are installed in a revolving nosepiece, which allows for quickly adjusting overall microscope magnification. Two objective lenses with high magnification come with protective spring-loaded frames; a 100x objective lens can be used for observations using oil immersion (a vial of immersion oil is included). Wide-field eyepieces have diopter adjustment, which allows for precisely adapting the microscope optics to the customer's eyesight. The coarse and fine focusing with a small pitch allow for sharpness adjustment.

The specimens are fixed on a double-layer stage, which is moveable along two axes. It is equipped with a mechanical scale, which allows for installing a specimen precisely under a microscope objective lens. Under the stage, there is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder. And, below it, there is a 20W halogen light. The light is powered by an AC power supply; its brightness is adjustable. In addition, this microscope allows for setting up Köhler illumination.

Caution:

Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220–240V in most European countries.
