TS PS32 Dovetail Bar - Vixen Style
The dovetail bar allows attaching longer telescopes to mounts with EQ5 / Vixen style saddle plate. The profile design achieves good stiffness with as little dead weight as possible. Tube rings with flat base or round base can be attached to the bar.
The connection options of the dovetail bar:
♦ At the ends of the dovetail there are two 1/4" female threads with the distance of 275 mm from each other. These internal threads allow the adaptation of tube rings without internal threads or the adaptation of telescope tubes. Dovetail clamps for the construction of a dual mount can also be attached there.
♦ In the middle of the dovetail there are two countersunk holes for M6 and 1/4" hexagon socket screws, suitable for thread lengths of 12-14 mm. The distance between the two holes is 35 mm. There you can fix for example a tube ring from below.
